To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour.
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour.
– William Blake (extract from Auguries of Innocence)
I chose it because a lot of the other poems I read were negative and depressing, which I don't like. I like how this poem is positive and describes freedom as a key to happiness. It tells how you need to be free and not stressed to see the world's true beauty.
